Jenny McCarthy Criticizes Rex Reed for Insulting Melissa McCarthy's Weight

Jenny McCarthy slammed film critic Rex Reed for offensive Melissa McCarthy's weight once he wrote a review for Melissa's new film "Identity Thief" in big apple Observer, Tuesday, February 5. "When you have got talent, you have got talent. folks should not in person attack anyone who's ahead of the camera," Jenny aforementioned on Access Hollywood survive February 12.

In his review of Melissa's new comedy film, Rex reffered to the thespian as "tractor-sized," "a thumping creep" and a "female hippo." "That's offensive in itself," Jenny told E! News. "For anyone to attack like that, it's simply wrong and hurtful, and it does not do anyone any smart -not even Rex Reed, you know?"

Jenny wasn't the sole one WHO slammed Rex. "Bridesmaids" director Paul Feig tweeted, "For his catty and faculty bully name-calling of the supremely gifted Melissa McCarthy, I warmly invite Mr. Rex Reed to travel f**k himself."

Explaining his alternative of words, Rex claimed, "My purpose was that I object to mistreatment health problems like blubber as comic talking points... (Melissa McCarthy) is basing her carreer on being offensive and being overwight. and that i do not assume that is funny."
