David Beckham Participating in "Specially Created" Olympics

Assisting his team in another victory, David Beckham was spotted on the field with the LA Galaxy at in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday (July 21).
The 37-year-old soccer star sprinted across the Home Depot Centre field in his Herbalife uniform before finishing off the game shirtless. Beckham and his teammates finished with a 3-1 win over the Chivas USA.
In related news, it was recently announced that Victoria Beckham's hubby will take part in the opening ceremony of the London Olympic games.
According to a recent report by NDTV Sports, the former England soccer captain will be taking part in a "specially created" part of Friday's (July 27) highly-anticipated celebration.
Sources close to the Beckham say he is looking forward to his newly acquired role adding, "He's really excited and delighted at being involved in the Olympics. It is in his home city so it couldn't get any better. It's going to be very special."
An Olympic insider also dished about the exciting news telling a British tabloid, "David will have a starring role in the games and he is excited at the prospect. Meetings will be held this week. It's going to be a big, big surprise."
Negotiations are still taking place, but David is expected to return to London to begin rehearsals soon.
